Spotlight wrong way round

When I create a Constructor spotlight, it shows its cone, but actually lights the other way. So I rotate it down and it lights the roof. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I add a spotlight and be able to make it point down, and the gadget points down too please?

I thought I had fixed this - what version are you using?

Any chance you could put a scene graph in this thing? Lists of brushes is not very intuitive.

For the scene graph, I've wanted to do this for a long time. I did add the brush groups to the tree, so it's getting more like a scene graph, but I haven't had the time to completely reorganize and replace it.

For best results, I've always thought it best to place lights in the mission editor. For the scene graph, I've wanted to do this for a long time. I did add the brush groups to the tree, so it's getting more like a scene graph, but I haven't had the time to completely reorganize and replace it.

I would like to be able to ctrl+lclick on a bunch of objects and drag them into a NULL folder (named by me). So I could have stairs, door, first floor that sort of thing.

Andy, click on my profile and then go to the tutorial on making a spotlight. Hope that helps. Awesome looking map by the way :)

Updated/Corrected: The issue occurs after 1.03. Spot lights work as expected in 1.03.
To reproduce the issue simply give a spot light a heading of 0 and a pitch of 90. Then rotate the light in Z to see it drift.

Hi, I am consistently having this issue. Although it doesn't appear to be as simple as the lighting being backwards. Here are the steps to re-produce it. Updated/Corrected: The issue occurs after 1.03. Spot lights work as expected in 1.03.
