Name: Brian Timmons, independent composer.
Website: You can check out my demo reel at SoundClick: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=665415 and on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/briantimmons.
Expected Compensation: As someone trying to establish their business, my rates are very reasonable. It may vary depending on the scope of a project and its particular needs, so contact me with details for a quote.
Contact Information: You can reach me by sending me a PM on this board, or email me directly at timmons_cello@yahoo.com.
Previous Projects: No completed games to date, only two projects that were canceled due to staffing issues on the programming teams. One could interpret these missteps as defeat, but it simply amplifies my resolve to hook up with a team ready to get things done.
Hey everyone,
It's been a while since I've tossed my hat in the ring, but I am now open to new projects. On both of my links you'll find my demo reel, just under 3 minutes long. Don't have 3 minutes to kill? Sure you do. I've made the demo reel free to download from either SoundClick or MySpace, so you can share it with your friends! (Hint, hint) It contains several excerpts of larger pieces, mostly intended for the epic fantasy-adventure genre. I also threw in a more dissonant and creepy piece, and a goofy bit just for grins.
There are new things in the works, in particular I want to write some stuff geared towards Sci-Fi. But for now, the demo reel should give you a rough approximation of my range. Epic, intimate, goofy, brooding, you name it I can do it. Take note that I specialize in orchestral music. So if you have a game project that needs techno, you'll need to look elsewhere. But if you want that old school cinematic charm that only comes with an orchestral score, just drop me a line.
Don't have a huuuuge budget for your next title? Not a problem. Just let me know your needs and we can go from there.
Thanks!
Brian Timmons

Ha! I guess all those countless months playing WarCraft 2 really show, huh? It's still one of my favorite game soundtracks, and being compared to that is very much an honor. I'm glad you enjoyed my work. Many thanks!Brian Timmons
