Orbit cam and 360 degree movement help...

Greetings - new to TGE but not necessarily to programming logic. Having fun playing around, but now I'd like to stretch my reach a little bit and see what TGE is capable of...
I'd like to have a 360 degree movement more akin to the zelda series rather than an fps with forward, backward and side movements, and also a controllable, zoomable orbit cam.
I'm a bit overwhelmed, so i was hoping someone could give me a place to start or help me through. Thanks so much!
