Hello TRQ People
My project involves Torque interface to a a haptic device and I am having a problem - I couldn't find any information about i.e how many physical units (mm, cm) are mapped to how many world units which I very much need for creating a convinsing haptic experience .. Can somebody help me?
Thx in advance

//EDIT: Of course, going for a 1:1 ratio is usually the most sensible thing.

This is more or less an arbitrary thing. The only thing that really matter is that you settle on one fixed meter/unit conversion ratio and then stick to it throughout.//EDIT: Of course, going for a 1:1 ratio is usually the most sensible thing.

Well if the world units are meters. then What are the tile scaling of terrain. If the standard is 8 what is that equal to, i have a map at 40. what would that be equal to?

Those are also meters.

Your telling me that my tiled map = 8 is 8 meters across? not likely, how big is a tile relatively speaking.

@Edward - A legacy terrain tile is 2x2 square km
