The background story is interesting. Sort of like a contemporary land-rush ala the Wild West, except a completely different setting? Has potential, and I wish you luck on it :)

I do hope that "Epic Online" is a tentative title. Reason being: A game company named Epic. My own MMO is "tentatively" titled Epic Frontiers. What that really means is that we're thinking up another name because Epic can hit us with a lawsuit if they wanted on copyright/trademark grounds and we'd rather not spend the money fighting that battle. Then again, I may be a wee bit paranoid, but then again maybe not...The background story is interesting. Epic Games is who I'm talking about, and that name is quite established. I'm just saying that it's something to consider, since the name of the game is close to the name of a game company, and the case can possibly be made to the effect of confusing consumers. I Am Not A Lawyer (<-disclaimer), so you'll want to bring that up to yours when you get to the stage when you're talking to one (about a lot of issues, because you'll need legal advice to launch an MMO which you want to make money with). But, that's the thing I'm thinking of with my title, and possibly with yours. Again, it's nothing to freak out over, but keep it in the back of your mind.

EPIC Is the name of the Game making company. EPIC Is the name of our game so yes. It doesn't not really matter. If they Threaten to sue us then we will Change the name.

Now I'm not saying your project will fail, it's just that without seeing anything of substance no one has any reason to believe otherwise.
If you want to gain some attention for your project, you will need to present something of substance (screenshots, detailed project outline, demos, etc).
If all you have right now if a plan, you need to make sure it is thoroughly fleshes out. This means detailing the individual systems of the game. For example if your MMO has skills, you need to detail such things as:
How do you obtain new skills
What do the skills do
How do they improve over time
How does the user select which skill they want to use
How do the skills compliment each other in player groups
There are many more details, and sub details for a single system like that. MMO's are some of the most complex games out right now and consist of many details covering gameplay, networking, database storage, graphics, story, etc. You will need a team with years of experience and years of development time to tackle such a project.
Good luck on your endeavor.

I think you are not getting many comments because threads like these pop up pretty regularly. Unfortunately the outcome in nearly always a failed project. Now I'm not saying your project will fail, it's just that without seeing anything of substance no one has any reason to believe otherwise.

Just wanted to poke that it is always a good idea to start small and gain experience before attempting something large.
