Texture problem (again) :)

Hi all again
having an issue with the textures on part of my model. I have included a link to an image that shows the issue below:

my problem is that the grey texture should not be showing. The area showing should be the brown texture at the back of the image. I was worrying that the collision zone might have picked up a texture some how and was displaying that in competition with the model itself. however I made a copy of the file and completely remade the collision zone and there was no change in the resulting model in torque. I tried toggling the double sided button as this has helped in the past but once again there was no change. I'm very new to this whole modelling thing so I'm well aware that I might just need to change one setting or something :)
I tried another forum and didn't have much luck and this forum has provided much help in the past (much very good help).
thanks in advance for any help.

Forgive my dumb arse question but are those files a part of the game engine or blender?

There should be a DeleteDSOs.bat (or something similar) file to delete all dso files in your game subfolders, try that.
If not, you can right click your game folder, search for *.dso and delete from there.

DSO files are compiled cs files. So, in a sense, they are part of the engine. There should be a DeleteDSOs.bat (or something similar) file to delete all dso files in your game subfolders, try that.

Hmm I tried running the deleteDSO.bat file but it seems that has not resolved this issue. It might be a blender thing as when I view the model in blender a similar effect can be seen (hense why I was wondering if it was the collision zone and the model competing with one another). In blender the same effect is happening but it's mostly only in edit mode and then it really does look like the collision mesh and the model mesh are fighting with one another. I might try adjusting the position of the collision zone but I'm still at a loss on this one.thank you for your assistance already provided.

Crap I feel like a moron now. I figured out the problem ... I had duplicated the model one more time than I should have and the two had different textures. I deleted the extra model and the problem was resolved. I guess I'm just getting stressed out as I get towards the end of the project that will give me a degree and the deadline is getting closer and closer and there is still so much work left to do ...
