Lamont Gilkey - 3D Artist Animator Full time/contract

I'm looking for a position of 3D modeler/animator, environments or characters. I have 3 years professional experience with real-time artwork. 4 years with Lightwave/3DS Max as game artist at 3D Pipeline Corp. Animation, integration into game engine(s). Two shipped products: Hyperpipe Simulator and Crimson Storm. Hyperpipe is a simulator for advanced Military applications. Crimson Storm is a Quake 2 style game for the US Military. I also work with motion capture editing with Lightwave 7.5, 3DS Max 4 and 5 and in-house tools.

Amazing Ally Doll model for Playmates: My job was to help with the modeling of the character to be used for commercials and advertising. I decided to deface the doll and put it in the characters section. it was just scary to have on my desk.

Balloonatics Pilot: Sole modeler to create 5 adolescent school kids who gain super powers after an accident. The animation is located here. My work is the characters in the classroom **put time slider to 0:50.

Infested: First major production project. Design, modeling, rigging, animating and compositing of "killer flies" for a Summer movie. Stills and small clips can be seen in the animations section. We used an in-house particle system for many shots. 3DS Max was used for the 90% of the shots, Lightwave for modeling of the fly and 2 shots.

Superscape Virtual TOCC (Tactical Operations Command Center): Modeled a real-time TOCC for military training via the web. There are shots for this in the environments section and a video located in the animations section.

Crimson Storm: Military game for promoting "Drug Awareness". Character design, modeling, texturing and animation.

Dolphin Girl: Character design for a ocean adventure starring a girl who is searching her parents in the city of Atlantis.

Shark Battle: Modeling,animation and design of crazy characters for a game about sharks eating people.
