Exports compatible with TorqueX?

I'd like to know if Houdini TGE/TGB exports are compatible with TorqueX. I'm considering getting TorqueX 3D game builder and Apprentice HD together, if the two are compatible then that would seal the deal.

Ooo - I'd be interested in whether they work with TorqueX as well - I already have TorqueX and I'd assumed the exporter would work with it. Am I correct? I was thinking of purchasing Houdini Apprentice HD in the next few days...

Cheers,

Houdini HD produces DTS and DSQ fileTypes....these two formats have NOT changed, as far as I know.... Houdini can produce a DTS shape that loads the SDK-Max produced DSQ's.....so it's capable of some 'majik'!

I see no reason these binaries would not work in these other GG platforms; the caveat being, I do not hold a license for these other platforms, so I do not know their DTS/DSQ limitations...

Good luck!

I could possible supply you with an example for testing, since the demo of HD will not 'Render/export' for TGE, only licensed copies?! I helped test the pipeline during development of the Torque ROP for Houdini...

In case anyone else was wondering what the outcome of this was...

I bought Houdini HD, and have successfully exported a couple of objects out of it and into TorqueX.
