Perhaps some feedback on our feedback please, or am I wasting my time?

The forums do work, even if they are a bit anemic in comfort features.
Some other sections of the site do need some informational updates, but that again would fall under the "It is at least working" category.
But hey... I'm sure someone will bring up the problems at the IndieGamesCon and get an answer to the question asked.

I do believe RickO has been a bit occupied with getting other parts of the site that are not working at all up and running. The forums do work, even if they are a bit anemic in comfort features.

Dunno, I just thought entropy was being a schmuck and wondering why no one had responsded to the 3 posts he had made in the space of 5 minutes :)
I see that it's a larger issue, thouhg :)
Guess we'll nail em over a few pints of beer in a couple weeks and see what is up :)

I am sure though that when it comes time to update this side of the GG site that they will look over all the wishes, decide which ones need to be done and can be done given the available resources and make it happen.
Just my thoughts on the subject of couse...

Aren't they (GG and the volunteer web developers) concentrating most of their efforts towards the forthcoming "players" site? If so, it's a bit too much to bitch at them over implimenting "wishes" for a free service that they provide to you, especially when they are busy developing another free feature of this site that will once again benefit you.I am sure though that when it comes time to update this side of the GG site that they will look over all the wishes, decide which ones need to be done and can be done given the available resources and make it happen.

What we decide to work on is kind of like the triage an emergency room doctor uses to decide which patient gets help. Right now, if it isn't life threatening, it doesn't get help.
Most suggestions are already cateloged or have been discussed. Still, some good suggestions are posted from time to time, so please feel free to keep posting.

We have no volunteer web developers helping us. Just because your suggestions are not implemented or replied to does not mean they are not read. What we decide to work on is kind of like the triage an emergency room doctor uses to decide which patient gets help. When the player site launches, I think that they'll be much more free to improve the main site (and probably plan to anyway, so that it appeals to gamers more than it does to developers).
All in all, GG is probably the most "fun" website I've used in a long time.

Yes, remember that GG is a small company that can only afford to finish the things it needs to have done. When the player site launches, I think that they'll be much more free to improve the main site (and probably plan to anyway, so that it appeals to gamers more than it does to developers).
