Tgea 1.7 ....i can't compile it anymore ...why?

I ve installed and configured visual c++ 9 with direct x sdk in project directories...but when i tru to compile my project give me the same error(i ve also tryed into on my other pc...and the result is the same..)

Try a clean build to see if something got munged along the way. I haven't had it with libpng, but I have with openal in the past (not TGEA 1.7, but with TGE 1.5.2). I do not know if this is your problem or not, but I thought I would mention it.

I ve also tryed a clean build....(batch build...select all files.. )nothing........
nd:i've an AMD in don't know if it 'is important
i ve tryed to build the project i xp with amd and on my laptop with vista...the same error........CL.exe error...

Ah i got the same error on all files..not only on libpng,,,

@Mariano - Did you use the SetupNewProject.exe to make your project?

This event also occours if i take stronghold.sln
on vc++2005 express and vc++2088 express

Reinstall your compiler. I have had an issue with a bad install of vc++ 2005 and vc++ 2008.
Aferwards the issue was fixed for me.

I've also tryed on laptop...the same..
or there is somethig in project directories that is 've miss...but i 've watched the guide....

I am thniking there is some application requirment that i've not installed on both computer...i ve downloaded directx(march 2008) and microsoft platform sdk..
any hint?

Ok solved...seemb that microsoft visual c++ sometimes misses the directory of reference lib and exe
(c\microsoftvisualc++\vc\include)
(c\microsoftvisualc++\vc\lib)
(c\microsoftvisualc++\vc\bin)

...........damn microsoft!!!
