Required C# 2005 Express?

I'm running the full Visual Studio 2005. The installer for TorqueX3D Beta said I must have the express version installed. Is this correct? If I install express on a machine that already has the full version will it break anything? If I install express do I need to reinstall XNA? I already have XNA 2 installed on this machine.

I don't see version 2 in my download section? I see 1.5 and the 3D beta. How do I get 2? I'm an indie developer who bought Game Builder, Torque TGE and TGEA. Am I eligible for TX 2?

You should be eligible. The binary for TX is free, and you get the other builder when you purchase 1.

The builder included in TX 2.0 should work with the license on your account.

Click on products > TorqueX Engine > Download Demo > either fill out the e-mail form or do not > Download TX 2.The builder included in TX 2.0 should work with the license on your account.

Would re-creating the project files in VS2005 full possibly work around the problem?

I also have the full version of VS2005, with TX2/XNA Refresh 1 installed and I'm getting "project type not supported" errors when attempting to open up the FPSDemo. Would re-creating the project files in VS2005 full possibly work around the problem?

EDIT:
And non-express versions of VS.

So, if I want to try TorqueX-Open Beta with the full version of VS2008, I cannot? It won't install.

It works with express or professional 2005, not 2008 yet.

XNA 2.0 does not support 2008 either. The pre-release of XNA 3.0 supports it, but TX has not been ported there.

No. You should install TX 2.0. It has the 3D functionality. The Beta was for XNA 1.

The TX Beta was based on the previous version of TX which required XNA 1.0 Refresh and VS C# 2005 Express.
