Connecting to 360

Okay, I love TorqueX, but I'm getting very frustrated with it. I want to use the platformer kit and be able to play the games on my Xbox, that's not too much to ask, I think.
The problem is that I've only been able to connect using TorqueX 2.0 (I've tried different versions). When I try lower versions of Torque, my Torque projects won't connect (Projects created in XNA without Torque connect. When I load up a Project created with Torque, it pretends I don't have an Xbox connected). I would be fine with just using 2.0, but I can't get the Platformer kit to work on that (It works on lower versions).
Any ideas on what I should do? I'm really having lots of trouble finding information on my problems.
