While surfing the web I stumbled across this program... No one has posted about it that I have found so I figured I would share it with the community.
It is called Ultimate UNwrap3d. What it does is it unwraps your model's mesh and flattens it so you can make a UV screen shot for your skin making program (photoshop, paintshop, etc.) It also allows you to texture and alter the model in program to allow fine tunning before adding the skin. Lots of cool features.
It is very easy to use and has excellent help and tutorials.
It comes with lots of plugins for different model formats and also one for MILKSHAPE.
It has to be registered, but only costs $29.00.
The site is at http://www.unwrap3d.com/ and is very user friendly (as opposed to many sites around).
Or you can search for it on Google "Ultimate Unwrap3d".
If anyone has had a bad experience, please post also.. since I am considering registering it. =)

You probably already registered, but you are right. This tools is a great deal for those of us working on the cheap. I'm a Milkshape, PSP 7.0, Unwrap3D kinda guy. With that combo I can do many of the things that the 3DSMAX folks can but for only $150 vs thousands. I'd still rather use 3DSMAX though.
Cheers!
