This might not be considered a bug but here goes...
I noticed that all i need to change from 6 paintable textures to 8 of them was a simple variable change in the GUI files located in the tools scripts, and it lets me paint on the terrain and everything seems to work fine with the added textures until I go to the world editor and try to add another object, i get a pink screen, it goes away when i go to the terrain editor, or tex painter...the only other thing I changed was just the size of a few Gui's...can anyone tell me why this happens.
If this isn't understood I can show exactly what i did, but i figured anyone who could help would know what i mean:)

*Tries to look innocent
Also I am wondering why they don't change this permanently where it has 8 to begin with, all I'm doing is making GUI changes. Although it could have to do with why they didn't implement it that way...hmm

Because when you first start the engine I do not believe you have a control object.
So why should it flash when you had one, then do not any longer? I ask because I have been working with using a mission in the main menu and of course you have a camera set there as your control object, but it seems a bit silly to have it flash pink just because you shut that down.

Ross, I have a question in regards to this. What is the control object then when you have yet to join a game?Because when you first start the engine I do not believe you have a control object.
