Can't get reset brush function to do anything...

As much as I love this feature, it was one of my request's, I can't get it to do anything with texturing. Every brush I try to reset the validation box appears but nothing ever happens with the texturing. I have been off and on this feature for a weak now and I have not been able to use the reset function to restore a bad texture. After resetting the textures they act just like they did before resetting, nothing ever changes with the textures...

Ok scrap last post, back to original post. I can't get the reset brush function to do much of anything. All I can get it to do is display the box that said it reset the brush...

I'm not sure - want me to send you the roof that I rotated and offset? Maybe that would help?

I guess I'm going to need it...I would like to compare numbers...I honestly can't imagine what is going on, but I know I am going to love the reset function when it works properly...thanks Jaimi

Hello?!

if you are going through problems or are busy on something I would have a different opinion. I noticed you have been logging in and still no response. That's just unacceptable and very typical of help I would expect from the telephone and not a gaming community!!!

I really do NOT appreciate being ignored! I send you my entire interior that I spent a whole month on and you act like it doesn't mean anything. I never would have agreed to disclosing our project to you if I would've known you really don't care.. I would appreciate it if you would discard everything I sent you please....if you are going through problems or are busy on something I would have a different opinion. Look buddy, I was on vacation all week with limited access to the internet (no in room access). I had no access to my home computer were everything was. While it may seem like the whole world may revolve around you, in fact it does not.
Good luck in your game making, you'll be getting no more help from me.

I know you probably stay very busy and get tired of the forums man, I don't blame you there. But, you are superior to me man and maybe the last post was a little out of line and I'm sorry for that, but we get tired too because the Torque community is a very good community and has so much potential. People like me are so involved in the gaming process or whatever that we tend to get agitated to. Me personally, I love it and could do this all day long if I could, but I'm only human and I get agitated too at little things. But it doesn't mean I should come here and cry or start a fight and that's not what I was doing. The last post was just letting you know if you aren't going to send the roof or are tired of working on it then I would appreciate it if you discarded it. I'm not angry if you are tired of looking at because I'm tired of looking at it myself. I probably should have taken a breather before the first post today but I did want to tell you if you are done with it then get rid of it, that was my main point.
All you had to do was just say shut the hell up or something man, I don't know why you have to call me 'buddy' and threaten me to not ever help. I re-read my first post and the only thing I didn't like how it started off, "I don't like to be ignored". It's the truth man, a lot of us get ignored and it sucks especially being ignored from someone who was supposed to be helping you and has your cherished build that took a month to build. I think you need to see from my perspective a little bit. I wasn't trying to be an a..Hole but it looks like you are and I'll just stay away if that's what you want. However, I would like to ask to not be banned because I still research without posting. I don't know why it has to be like this man...I've been waiting 3 weeks on this roof.

Thats fine, but one question, why ask me if I need something if you never deliver....you had access to ask me a question?! You came to me to ask me if I wanted the roof how am I supposed to know you were on vacation. Like I said earlier I would have a different opinion if 15 days didn't go by until now. You aint much help anyway if a month goes by before I get information...I even emailed you and still nothing. A simple, shut the F..K up would have been fine if you were on vacation I would have totally got the point. But you chose to take it to this level, not me. I think I have been very patient in waiting. I haven't even touched the forums in 3 weeks hoping the reset brush function would be finally fixed from your input...but thats fine if you don't want to help me dude, I don't take it as a threat or anything, I, personally wasn't getting much help here anyway, the questions I had were inferior to your superiority, and I really do mean that literally. I'll be the first to admit it, but you know what I can figure it out myself or just try a different method which usually works the best anyway.I know you probably stay very busy and get tired of the forums man, I don't blame you there. But, you are superior to me man and maybe the last post was a little out of line and I'm sorry for that, but we get tired too because the Torque community is a very good community and has so much potential. As you have requested, I have deleted your assets.
Edit: deleted the "poor me" paragraph.

You seem to be under the impression that I work here or something. I do not. I cannot ban you, nor can I do anything to your account at all. I have no relationship with GG beyond having an associate status. I help people out and fix bugs in constructor simply because I like to do so. Truth is, I have very little time to do it -- I have a large family, a full time job, and of course my own project as well that I am working on. As you have requested, I have deleted your assets.

Jaimi, yes, I thought you were a full-on employee there. Actually yes I thought you worked there. That makes me fully respect what you're doing even more, please don't get the impression that I don't. Something told me not to come here today. I was about to start a new build and get amped up on research, but I came here instead. Truth is Jaimi, I was really looking forward to your input and to be blown away like that is the last thing I wanted to do and kind of hurts a bit. Jaimi, man if I could I would help anybody out here as much as I could, I would tell you that if you ever needed anything let me know, but the only reason I haven't is what could I possibly help you on that you don't already know. Jaimi, Just let me apologize for my attitude in the first post today. I have gotten the roof going and if possible can we put my stupidity behind us? I'm sorry man for acting stupid, I really do appreciate your input and I did think you were always at Garage Games or had an office somewhere doing this. Now that I know you do not I am truly sorry and I try to avoid people that I was acting like. Actually Jaimi, I'm kind of glad this happened because I doubt I would've ever known that and now I have complete respect for what you're doing. Can we forget this happened man, you have gotten me out a few binds man and I don't want to lose your knowledge on constructor. Jaimi, I'm sorry man, will you accept it?

It's not really my place to butt in here, but I just found it very interesting and unfortunate what happened here today. I've seen Meyou probing the forums intensely for a while now, and we all know how frustrating it can be when you run into those snags during development and you're waiting intently for a response in the forums in order to continue forward. And we've all seen and appreciate the hard work Jaimi has put into Constructor, and most understood that it was volunteer work which only increased our respect. The thing is, we function here as a community, striving toward a common goal... to help each other make better tools and a better engine for our mutual enjoyment and benefit. With that in mind, no one is justified in being rude to another, whether they are an employee or not. We all have lives outside of Torque, and sometimes "life just happens." I, for example, am an engineer and just play with the engine as a hobby, sometimes falling off the forums for weeks at a time. There are alot of people here needing help and alot of people willing and able to help, but it takes patience and diligence on everybody's part. In any event, today a little bit of life happened and I hope that you two can be reconciled, with a dose of humility, respect, and forgiveness that we should all display toward one another at all times. And perhaps our little community will be the better off for it as we once again strive toward that common goal together with a renewed sense of responsibility and professionalism.

Thanks Ryan, it looks like you are concerned and I really appreciate that. That's what this is all about it's all about coming together in our own ways to make things happen. I hope we can put this behind us because constructor is one awesome tool and Jaimi is the man behind it. I hope he can see I see that...

@ Jaimi...if you want to try my theory, go back and use the ramp for the roof and see if you can ever reset that primitive, that is what my roof is built with...and if you have the same problem, I would say the Ramp is bad..
