Exporting with textures.

Hi there. I use xsi to model but 3dsmax for exporting and rigging etc. In XSI I have a model that uses two different textures. When I export it from 3dsmax and load it into torque with the textures in same folder it still renders it white. Now I'm guessing I just need to load the two textures into 3dsmax before exporting so that it knows which images to use. How can I do this. The model has uvw data in it as when I load it in xsi it shows up with the correct textures etc.

If you apply a material to the object first, which has the texture in the diffuse slot, it works. I havent gotten normal/spec maps to load properly for TGEA.... but thats how to do it for diffuse maps.
