I'd like to let you know about our video game developers contest. Contestants can enter their games on www.yobi.tv/yobigames. The current prize fund throughout our network is over $20,000.
Let me know if you would like any other information, contact@yobi.tv.

-Thanks

Not to be cynical, but you are anticipating 1000+ entries, want 100% ownership transfer of all the I.P. and your site looks like it was built by a domain squatter? And you have several other contests running concurrently for other types of I.P. yet have no real content/presense history in any of the interest channels/domains?

So planning on making a killing off of the newly owned I.P.? You guys sound far from legitimate. Does your payroll have anyone other than lawyers and MBA's on it?

Quote:1. Grand Prize Winner: Cash prize equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Total Prize Fund.

Basically.. it reads: 'Pay me to show your Game.. (that I get to keep) ..the amount of $14.95.. and I will place $1.00 into the lottery.. and IF I decide there is a winner.. then the Winner will receive 1/2 of the Lottery amount '

I think the game rules was actually a game Concept they want to make in Torque. ( sarcasm )

Interesting idea, I suppose. I don't know about the execution though, it seems like you're basically saying "Pay us, and we'll take your IP in exchange for very little website exposure and a chance at half the cash we've taken from other (former) IP holders." After reading the rules/agreement, I can't say that anyone in their right mind would PAY to have their hard work taken from them with essentially no compensation beyond having to pay to turn over their IP, with the explicit agreement that they have no rights to sell it thereafter, and the "sponsor" (YOBI) has full rights to do whatever they wish with it.

I feel sorry for the people that signed up for this that make up the current $3k prize pool :/
