Its the same Ad network that EA uses to market their games.
You can get started for 100 bucks, which will make your ad show up on RELEVANT WEBSITSE 33,000-49,500 times.
These are called "ad impressions"
Just make sure you make a damn, damn good ad, so that all of those impressions turn into clicks.
Tip: Don't just show a picture of a happy (or angry) game character.
Show the player what they can DO in the game somehow along with a pretty image.
I found this because I've been studying and practicing internet marketing for over a year now, and of all of the available marketing strategies out their, this is probably the easiest as well as the most bang for your buck, and is one of the only ones I would recommend to marketing newbies (or anyone who hates marketing).
This is known as "media buying", and game companies do it all the time.
Once people click through to your game, you damn well better have a mailing list signup front and center :).
Then send out mailing updates at least 2-3 times a week.
Beyond that, your website better look good, and get RIGHT TO THE POINT of what your game offers.
Don't bother with google adwords. Its a joke. Media buys get you exponentially more traffic for less money.
Go try this out, then let me know what happens in this thread.

You mean 33000 HITS or 33000 VIEWS? From my experience, from 33000 views you can expect at maximum 5000 clicks, and only if you have a DAMN GREAT banner. But at average, it should be around 500-1000 clicks. In this case, Google Adwords are cheaper and you are paying for clicks, not for views.

As Konstantin pointed out, ad impressions are very different than click-thrus, which is why they are paid at a different rate.
After having you lie to us to get us to read your advertisement, do you really expect us to rush out and sign up for your service?

No, it's not a joke, it's a lie -- at least your title is.As Konstantin pointed out, ad impressions are very different than click-thrus, which is why they are paid at a different rate.

(Dives out of chair, rolls, and crashes through window to get out of the line of fire - considering how many Gunfighter duels Ed has likely been in ;) )

We know this is a scam, and advertisement, yet this topic has been up for a month and you guys still haven't gotten enough common sense to just let it die? If the moderators and admins aren't going to do anything about it, you guys should at least grow up a little and not keep bumping it. Seriously, I would never have expected to see this a month later, but I did. Let it die, woo.

Don't multitask while buying media. That's a stupid, stupid thing to do, and a great way to waste money because you'll make mistakes.
Take a break from making your game, and have the media buy be the ONLY window open on your computer.
That way you can FOCUS and MAKE A GREAT AD, and SUBMIT IT INTELLIGENTLY.
