Texturing Question

Hey, does anyone happen to know if in TGE u can a texture assigned to different polygons? or isnt this allowed? any info would be appriciated, thanks

Could you explain that a little bit more? Do you mean the in-game editor in Torque, or in Worldcraft/Hammer/QuArK? And what do you mean with different polygons?

someone asked me if they could assign a texture to each polygon to a model in TGE or something, apperiently you can do it in Lightwave, but i have no idea, lol, i hope that clears it up a bit.

If you are talking about models, than that's as easy as assigning a texture to your model on a by-face basis. But if you are talking about the terrain, than it's unfortunetly a 'no', as Torque (to my knowledge...) only allows you to quite literally 'paint' the textures to the terrain to properly allow for blending of different textures (like grass merging into dirt).
