Any info on creating roads or tracks?

Hello,
Is there any information for creating roads or tracks? Can these be added with the world editor or do I need something that allows rotating the textures and such for placement?
Thanks,
Chris

We created railroad tracks in our game by laying down straight segments of DTS objects, which includes a track bed that extends down pretty far to fill in for variances in the terrain. Since railroad tracks don't curve much, we didn't even have to build curved segments, we could just build gentle curves from the straight segments. Slight vertical pitching was used to make it go up and down when there was significant elevation change.

if you are using TGEA 1.7 or TGE with the Polysoup Addon, then you can do it the way I did as explained in my latest Blog (see the link to the tutorial at the bottom of the blog):

If you are using plain TGE you only relatively good looking solution will be to use DTS objects... but with these you can only make flat tracks...

With Atlas, you can just use your terrain tool, to create the tracks/roads (including elevated geometry and such). If you are using blended textures, however, you run into the same problem with texturing the roads as with legacy terrain. Unique texturing leaves you free to let pavement follow the road and other such stuff.
