Do you remember this Torque-based RPG?

Allright, so anybody else who has seen the post is bound to know... About a year or so ago, I wandered across the Torque pages, and around that time, I saw a rather unique 3d game someone was developing. The game was being textured in grayscale... However, as the player progressed through the storyline (I'm assuming it was some sort of RPG or 3d adventure game), the world gained color.

What made it unique was that the game was supposed to have taken place inside a storybook world. So much so, that the skies were textured with parchment, and the particle effects were made out of letters. Snow, for instance, was just a little diamond made out of the letters S, N, O, and W. Rain was also made out of it's own letters. I thought this was a brilliant touch, so it stands out in my mind as being one of the distinguishing factors that is sure to set this game apart from any other similar game I could have brought to mind.

Anybody with any information on this game is urged to step forward. Just knowing the name of the game would help greatly. Anybody who would be interested in seeing or playing such a game is also urged to reply (which will also help bump the topic in hopes that the original creator, or someone who knows the creator, will step forward!) Thank you for any and all information you have!

All of the games that we know of that are made with Torque are found on this page. I know that both Vigil: Blood Bitterness and Victi 2 are very stylized black and white games, but I'm not sure if those are the games you are looking for.

It is always possible that 1) we didn't catch this game you're looking for or 2) it was a non-Torque project and therefore is not listed here. But I hope it helps!

Deborah beat me to it. I seem to remember this project, though I don't think it was in Torque. I think it was one of the great indie projects that was posted to keep us all in the loop. Even though we, of course, love to see Torque projects, we love to see indie projects regardless of the engine used.

I remember this project from the Realm Crafter Forums as that was the first engine I came across and began using. I am not sure if the project is still going or not but here is the link www.realmcrafter.com/private/viewtopic.php?t=5900&highlight=story+book

That's where I saw it! Too bad it looks like it doesn't exist anymore. Both the images and the project site are gone.

There's two video clips of this game here and here. Also, they seem to have a new site here, though that's still just the usual empty WIP thing.

:D Thanks. You guys are awesome!
I figured someone here would know about it, even if it wasn't Torque-based.
My curiosity is finally calmed. *bookmarks*
