Exporting blender effects to DTS

Hello. after having toyed with a guide using halos, i tried exporting a light saber to .dts and i've come across a few issues such as nothing showing up and when i tweak some already working exported items they show up all white instead of a green glow. Is there something i must do with the exporter first? I've been able to export skinless models from blender to constructor (i was told to use it as a model viewer) but not a light saber into constructor. I'll provide any and all information if asked.

I would really like to test this effect on many objects over the course of time (warp drive anyone?)

Thanks for the heads up. I must have spent hours trying to find out. Are there any glowing tricks people use here?

Yes! Thanks for the help! Our beam sabers and special effects will thank you many times over! Now i must practice exporting over and over.

*edit* this saber/blade is actually cleaner as far as look... if i had a circle object with a glowing circle around it, would i be able to use this method and produce the same results? there is something faulty about the way i map textues and such on blender so i'll have to see what in the world i do wrong all the time.

Not that i have time to finish where i left off i'm having a problem.

Iwent to MS paint and made a PNG that's 128x128
tossed colors on it
made a model with 2 planes and a hilt
UV mapped them (didn't touch the materials tab)
set up the nodes (shape, loscollision-1, col-1, detail32)
parented everything
placed a copy of the png in the folder where i exported to
then went to load in constructor

Unless there's something wrong with what i'm doing, i'm totally lost here.

ok im working on a medieval sword pack for tge i used blender to make the swords i have no problem exporting the swords to Dts format but i cant get any of the texture/materials to export with the model i know that if i uv text the models i can export the text but i just cant get the effect that i want is there any sites with good text for swords that anyone knows about or any possible way to keep the textures im using in blender

thanks for the feed back i can model just about anything but im new to building and exporting game models and textures tge is the first engine ive kicked around so ill try to bake the materials and see if that solves the problem thanks again
