Wolfgang Schall,

Ich habe dir ein Email geshickt. It looks pretty straightforward and could be a good practice project.

Hi!

So i give all more infos. So i wrote it is a commercial game, so it is really a commercial game.
I will earn money with this game. So i put a small video on my server. So you can see it in motion.

It is a Mpeg4 format.

So please only programmer, they was very interessted to earn money and they must handle this from the begin to the end. This game has 10 levels and all a second level it comes an endcounter (like 5 inside).
10 music tracks are inside. For 4-5 month many pleople ask me by e-mail, when it is finish'd, but 2 programmer give's up and that was very bad. The first one comes to 60 %, the second one comes to 80 %. I search a programmer to make it really finish'd. So please, come on. Let's do it.

Sorry for my bad english. I'm from germany. Thank you!

We worked on this for some time and it was a good learning experience.

Unfortunately, it turned into a good learning experience on how to handle requirements, expectations, and contributions from the various parties.

The lesson we learned from this, don't start projects that are ill-defined unless you're being paid hourly. The post may need to updated to show that two more programmers have abandoned from this project, or more appropriately were removed for expecting the art provider to properly organize the art in an efficient manner. C'est la vie.

Please, don't take from this post that I'm bitter about how things happened, rather I do hope that other people hoping to help people with their projects take plenty of time to accurately determine if a project is ready to be made or not. A pile of art and a vague explanation are not a design document, programmers should not just assume that the other person will get their act together and be a viable parter.

In the future, and others should please learn from this, if a project is not well-defined and the partner organization is not wholly committed to the project, just pass on it. When in doubt, it seems more prudent to pass and wait for a better opportunity.

Very well said Jason.

*Edit : I have not thing related with this project but I find what Jason said in general should be considered by new comers.

I can't belive it. Why on earth you post so many bullshit in this forum. You have two playable demos to see, what i kind of gameplay i need. This is mutch better as a read me file. Oh oh oh...
A good programmer make this game in round about 6-8 weeks. So i wait 2 month and nothing happends, not one playable demo with enemies or whatever...very good service :(...and by the way...this forum is a wrong place for wrote this kind of coments. So please understand both sides of the story.

Webmaster so please close this thread. Thank you!
