Which version of WorldCraft?

Which version of WorldCraft would be best for creating structures for the V12 engine?

I can't really say what's best for V12 since I don't have the proper tools yet, but...

You'll want to use the lastest version, 3.3, to make your maps. 1.5 and 2.1 were fairly crash prone and are missing a load of useful features.

You could in fact use QERadiant or any other .MAP editor if you wanted, too. Just import your .MAP in Worldcraft, and if needed you can then save as .RMF. Texture consistancy would be an issue, though. You'll have to set up the textures separately for each editor.

The V12 (and Tribes) require the latest WorldCraft (3.33 I think). Any version 3 WC may work, but I know there was a change in the map format between 2.0 and 3.0.

I am pulling my hairs off trying to figure out this worldcraft stuff. It is obviously made for another game then V12. Is there a place (link) where we can learn how to set up worldcraft to design V12 Interior building??

The tools needed for V12 conversion haven't been released yet, so the instructions haven't been released yet either.

There is a web page (Tribes 2 Central Download) where we can download all of the files necessary it seems to make Worldcraft work with Tribes 2:

http://www.tribes2centraldownload.com/?section=download&f_filesectiontype=10

Is it safe to assume that if these files configure Worldcraft to work with Tribes 2, then they should configure Worldcraft to also work with the Torque engine?

Thanks,

Chad
