Export GMax to MD3.
Open the MD3 with MilkShape.
Export from MilkShape . ( with the Torque Plugin applied in MilkShape)

Just read this in the Reference manual for TGEA. Gmax doesn't have a Plugin for export to Torque so the work around is the steps here.

If it's not a gmax model, you simply have to somehow get it translated into a model format your modelling program understands, then use the DTS exporter. Milkshape is very handy for this, as it supports a large variety of formats.

My game has tons of turbosquid models, although many of them are high poly.

You can get anything for free off PirateBay. On the other hand, Milkshape is very cheap, $35. It is also written and maintained by a single dude who supports it extremely well--personally, himself, on his forums every day. So it's kinda dickish to pirate it. It's a good investment.

I do believe it has a 30 day demo however :-)

I like the keyloggers that come with some free versions of Adobe CS3. How else could I remember my online banking passwords!

Can you export models using blender 3d

@Jared: Yes, although you have to learn Blender's interface, first. I've actually switched to it from Milkshape as my primary modelling tool. It does have a decent set of import filters, too.

Gmax does blow, and I've never gotten that gmax->md3 path to work.
