TGEA 1.7: Max 2008

Ok, I like the latest tools, and as a programmer I don't use that many art tools, but I have access to Max 2008, but so far I have been unable to find a way to export a mesh for use in any Torque product from max2k8.

I feel that I have missed something obvious somewhere. All the docs I've read have DTS exporters for up to max 8, but that isn't much use to me at this point. Is it just me or is the art pipeline lagging behind the engine?

The artists page have exporters for max9, nothing changed in how plugins work in 2008 so they still work fine.

Ahh thanks. Theres a lot of documentation since I last looked at the engine!
