Hi Ramen,

Hmm, I ran the TGEA Terrain Water Demo ... are you saying that this IS the TGEA engine that I can work in/on?

Why was it called a demo then thats confusing.

I can see the demos np.

What about the TGEA.exe .....Failed to open "main.cs" ?

Thx

It's an arguable point, but world editing is "drag and drop"--once you've placed your shapes in your directory structure, you select them within the editor, place them in the world, then translate/rotate as you wish to create your scene.

TGB's "drag and drop" is much more apparent due to the nature of a 2D game editor, and the approach TGB takes to scene creation.

I had a similar problem. What I found out. When I bought the engine, my download was for 1.0.3 but aftere an email to tech support, that was changed to 1.7 Might have been a similar problem.

Yes, running a demo first is kind of odd but nothing dealbreaking. Can't wait to delve further into the program.

The only thing I can add here (or reiterate) is to take a pill and RTFM. The community is helpful if you help yourself first. As with any community, no one is gonna be overly helpful with stuff that is in the documentation and/or community knowledge base. Don't be so quick to run to the forms and start posting questions that have been answered several times before. Take some time to do some searching, read your books, read the docs, and learn. Once all of those avenues are exhausted, then by all means post your questions and everyone will be happy to help.
