How can you integrate a dts into a dif?....I am so totally struggling here I can't even think straight...I have a door and I have a building...omg....what am I doing wrong?...
I'm just tired of having to resize and position the door everytime in the editor, I at least want to export the door with the correct coordinates for the interior but not one program will handle these two file types...

If you're just placing multiple instances of the same building, just get one building set up the way you want with all the doors in it. Select everything. Copy and paste the group somewhere else (ctrl-c and ctrl-v). Move everything as a whole to keep the relative positions correct. Hold alt while dragging an axis to rotate the group as a whole. That should be much less painful than manually placing the doors each time.

thanks michael...I didn't think there was a way around that, just had to make sure....
..."Select everything. Copy and paste the group somewhere else (ctrl-c and ctrl-v)."...thats what I've resorted to and it's not that bad really I just really wanted that damn door fixed on the interior so bad...but I'm over it now...thanks Ryan...

"you could easily use triggers and teleport the player to either side of the door but where' the coolness in that?"...I can't get that vision out of my head now...I'll be busting out laughing all day now.....thanks michael...I didn't think there was a way around that, just had to make sure....

You can import .dts static meshes into Constructor but you will not be able to use the door as a door if you need to enter the building. The door shape is fixed in place and automagically treated like a bsp shape, thus no interaction with it. If you went that route you could easily use triggers and teleport the player to either side of the door but where' the coolness in that?
