Manually moving T3DSceneCamera

Been playing around with the 3d starter game, the free camera component seems to come with a built in InputMap. I've been trying to duplicate that behavior manually, but changing PositionOffset or RotatedPositionOffset doesn't seem to be doing it. Any ideas?
