Mini chess is here!
Features:
* Plays three different mini chess variants: western chess, makruk, and shatranj
* Challenging AI that has 5 difficulty settings
* Capacity to handle multiple themes/skins: beta has two
* Undo button
* Hint button
* Play as black, white, or two players
* How-To-Play Tutorial section
* Full screen toggle; music toggle
* Chess fact ticker

I personally only know one person who has beaten mini chess on extra hard... and it took him 13 tries. Personally, I always get my butt kicked. Makruk and Shatranj I find especially hard. :)

Thanks. I think it has turned out pretty well. I haven't duplicated the mouse crash, but your comments did inspire me to hunt down and fix a different bug. :)I personally only know one person who has beaten mini chess on extra hard... and it took him 13 tries. Here are the three other themes that I've got going. If people have thoughts on which one is the best or worst, I'd love to hear it. These all have matching backgrounds, not shown here.

Beta 2.0 has expired. Thanks to everyone for testing it out. I found a number of bugs and got some great feedback in terms of gameplay, interface, and so forth. And I did manage to add one more feature that I think will help it appeal to a more casual audience: auto-save / auto-resume. So a person can close the game any time, open it back up, and their last game is waiting to be continued. Here are the three other themes that I've got going. If people have thoughts on which one is the best or worst, I'd love to hear it. These all have matching backgrounds, not shown here.
