Torque Juggernaut done?

So i've been keeping track of whats been going on with TJ, and I know it was shown off at GDC with the games that are running on it, like Legions. It looks like the 360 version is done (based on the GameDev article), so does that mean that next week we are going to get our indie hands on Juggernaut too?

Funny how big news seems to be found away from the source.

Say they did announce that it would be released next week then for some reasion a last min bug pops up and its delayed a week. The amount of chaos that would cause isnt worth the risk. Thats why communication has dropped to near nothing over the years. The was a day and time when the community was still small and it didnt matter as much if dates where missed or things where dropped. But it seems today any news is taken as written in stone and must be aheared to.

Thats simply because they have learned that releaseing information here before its set in stone is a bad idea. The backlash from the community here is beyond acceptable.Say they did announce that it would be released next week then for some reasion a last min bug pops up and its delayed a week. The up coming TGEA release is as close to Juggernaut as you'll get until Torque 2.

GG has said in the past that Juggernaut is not meant for release as a product. It was an intermediate step used to merge TGE, TGEA, and TGB into one codebase. The up coming TGEA release is as close to Juggernaut as you'll get until Torque 2.

The latest release to T360 is essentially Juggernaut, but not all products are yet fully functional there. For example, TGB is in there, but not up to our 1.7.2 release because the merge occurred pre-TGB 1.6. There are advantages to our products being identical to the versions in our internal merged repo and we're working toward that goal, but in some cases (TGB is one), the product version is actually more advanced than that in the Juggernaut code base.
We're going to try to do a better job describing what these names mean to us and what they should mean (if anything) to Torque users. It's very important to us that our technology gets proven in actual game dev before going into a product. That's why even though there are some features in Jugg that would be interesting for TGEA or TGE users to check out, we're making sure that before features like that get integrated into products they're proven by shipping games. It's the old "eat your own dog food" rule and it's part of what makes Torque so great for actually shipping games.
Expect much more on this subject soon. We're all focused on the update to TGEA in the works and a few other projects that you guys will appreciate, but I'm going to make the time in the next few weeks to give you guys a lot better look at what we're doing, what we plan to do, and how things work inside GG. Questions I'll answer:
What is "Torque 2"? Is it a version number? An internal reference?
What is "Juggernaut"?
What's happening with TGEA / TGE / TGB?
When will transparent development begin? Who will be included?
If you have additional questions you'd like me to address, just list them here and I'll add them to my list. Big blog coming on all this stuff.

I can confirm that Juggernaut will not be released as we use the term internally. Juggernaut is home to TGE, TGEA, TGB, and T360 (including MS XDK which can't be licensed to those not approved by MS). If you must, think of Juggernaut as a staging area for technology to go into products like TGEA, TGE, and TGB. Question to add to the list:
What's the difference(feature wise) between Juggernaut and TGEA v1.0.4?
