Partly garbled meshes after exporting

Hello folks.

I just exported a model from Blender to Torque, and I'm seeing a partially garbled mesh. I have a screenshot here:

When exporting with MilkShape this problem does not occur so I suspect something is different in either Blender or the exporter. The mesh is "practically" the same.

One thing that springs to mind is that the poly/vertex count is reaching the limit of Torque. Showtool says that the exported mesh is about 14300 poly's (I did something wrong there, it should be half of that, around 7k).

But what I'm wondering, is there a limit to the amount of poly's and vertices in Torque? And is this indeed causing my garbled mesh?

If you have bones in the mesh you might have to fix it like this person had to do..
