Upcoming Tasks

Thought i would say that there isn't many tasks for a modeler like myself that aren't taken by more than ample people.
So i'm wondering when some new modeling tasks are goin to pop up?
Do tasks have to be in the task list to be performed?

I wouldn't limit myself. If you come up with models based on ideas of your own, they can be used in RW or they can give others more ideas to work with.

I can't "Officially" speak for Realm Wars but if you want to contribute to thier cause always check the Project Manager they have lots of odds and ends that need to be made. I will be making some next month.

Modeling tasks are needed in default torque:

The default player model needs to be fixed to hold a weapon properly.

The 2x4 default weapons need to be replaced.

The health and health kits need the deatil fixed.

Player animations could be updated to include melee swings.

If the above task were to be added to default torque, it would be truly impressive. :)

There are plenty of art tasks in the RW Project Manager, you should check that out (as Anthony mentioned) if you are intersted in participating. Hopefully one of the tasks there will peak your interest and you can sign up for it.

I feel that it is important to not that there is not a single task that is mediocre or meaningless, every art asset (task) that goes into the game hold equal importance, as a collective whole they will make or break the visual appeal of the game.
