Making Sprite-sheets?

I am presently using a 3D animation program to create an image sequence. Then place those images into photoshop to create the sprite-sheets. It would be nice to use Contact Sheet II to automate the sprite-sheets, but it does not create the alpha channel. Is there any one here uses Contact Sheet II in Photoshop CS3?
If I use the "copy and paste" method the selection boundary does not remain the same size from copy to paste. Weird! So I place a stroke around the alpha-channeled image, then copy and paste. It works but it is time consuming because I have to erase the stroke from the image.

I use a Mac but I also am using Windows XP SP2 on the same computer. I cannot get over the idea that I can do this on the same computer. So I switched over to windows and downloaded GlueIt. After that I went back to Mac OS and transfered the images over to the windows' volume (icon HDD) onto the Windows' Desktop. Then went back to windows to make a Sprite Sheet from those images by using GlueIt. Wow it was a snap. I saved the new file (with alpha channel) on the windows desktop. I then went back to Mac OS to transfer the file to the Mac desktop. No Problem....

I too develop on a Mac. I use Spriteliner though it appears it's no longer supported by its developer.

Are you still using GlueIt or did you get PS working to make your Sprite-sheets? I'm having the same issue too with Photoshop CS4 Extended. I would not like to use any other program other than PS.
Thanks :-)

It was actually an issue in Opera for some reason, sorry that I posted its unavailable. In Opera it just says it can't find the file on the webspace so I figured it got deleted and I didn't find any mirrors on google. Tried it with Firefox and now it works. Thank you guys.

I had the same problem with images from 3ds max. I wrote the following tool to help me. Source is posted as well as the executable in the link.http://gh33da.com/wordpress/?p=22
