Hi,
Like a few others I'm just starting in the wonderful world of torque... I am having a few problems adding water to my level map, I add the waterblock on the world creator and adjust the settings, place the block on the map, but the water don't appear... Did I forget anything?
Anyway, thank you for the time... :-)

The existing water needs a reload to get any new textures loaded. You could do worse than try out my fluid rendering.- Melv.

Follow these steps.
1. Place your water (using World Edit Creator - F4)
2. Switch to World Editor Inspector - F3
3. Select your water w/ mouse
4. Click RemoveWetEdges (i.e. make sure checkbox is NOT checked) and click APPLY.
Your water should be visible. If not, post again or mail me directly.

Yes, I think you are 'forgetting' something. Actually, it is not obvious the first time around. Follow these steps.

2. Switch to World Editor Inspector - F3
3. Select your water w/ mouse
4. Click RemoveWetEdges (i.e. make sure checkbox is NOT checked) and click APPLY.
Your water should be visible. If not, post again or mail me directly.

Be careful, tho, if you're positioning it. If you are, click on another object first, then back to water and hit apply :)

I dunno if this will help, but when I work with waterblocks, i find the "apply" button is helpful. You add a space or something to one of the entries in the editor, and hit apply, and the water will re-render and display.Be careful, tho, if you're positioning it. If you are, click on another object first, then back to water and hit apply :)
