Players and projectiles disappearing near mission area edge

I've recently run into a problem when creating linked maps(with starter.fps) where when one player reaches the mission area it will teleport the player to a new mission. The problem I've found is that for some reason near the mission area edge projectiles dont seem to render or only render rarely and other players on the network become invisible. Has anyone ran into a similar problem?

You might try greatly reducing the size of the mission area relative to the terrain (before it starts repeating). That might indicate whether the phenomenon is in any way related to the mission area.

Yeah I've reduced the mission area down to the original size and then some. What appears to happen is that the rendering cuts out *before* it reaches the edge of the mission area but it always occurs around it. I noticed that this problem is not occurring in a clean version of starter.fps, so it must have been something I added to the game.. although I can't imagine what.
