Getting GuiAutoScrollCtrl to scroll in horizontal direction

Does anyone know how to get the GuiAutoScrollCtrl
to scroll in the horizontal direction?
I have found this link www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=9049 but it looks like the info may be outdated because if you do a dump on this control these methods are not there
