Music in a Torque game

Can i put Music from artists like Ennio Morricone or other Artists in a Game, that is FREE for all players?

but it is possible to allow the playing of say music in the background in the game?

Just make sure you have permission or own the music. You can't download an MP3 of your favorite song and distribute it in your game.

Tribes 2 has some nice tunes jamming in the background.. so I'd say yes you can.Just make sure you have permission or own the music. You can't download an MP3 of your favorite song and distribute it in your game.

You can put in an MP3 player so they can play their own MP3 files.

You could always try looking up less mainstream artists and see if their music appeals to you. Then contact them and see if there willing to allow for usage of there music.
Just make sure to get permission and get it in writing, and make sure you include credits in your distribution.

Tal even though your game is free, the artist songs aren't. Its illegal for you to redistribute there work in yours without permission.You could always try looking up less mainstream artists and see if their music appeals to you.
