Lighting help

Hello. When I add a light as described in a lighting tutorial on TDN, it works fine except the light doesn't stretch far enough. What is the parameter to make the light stretch farther? The light is coming from a lamp but it doesn't reach the ground. I want to make it stretch down to hit the ground. Thanks in advance.

Personally tho, if I'm going to mess with light settings, I copy the cs file and rename it to some other name, renaming the light as well. This way I can use "my" light without messing up the stock one.

I don't know which light exactly you are using, but if you look in "common/lighting/lights/" You will find the scripts for the lights. Find the script for the light you are using and adjust it's radious and brightness settings to the desired level.Personally tho, if I'm going to mess with light settings, I copy the cs file and rename it to some other name, renaming the light as well. Uhm yeah but you can do all that Mike said also bringing up the mission editor (F11) and then switching to the lights editor (F12)... It's a lot simplier do it inside the editor, avoiding to startup and shutdown TGE to edit lights datablocks...
