Torque does not support transparency in interiors. You will have to add a resource to the engine to support this. It will also mess up your lighting data.

Just to be clear, DIF's do not support transparency but DTS's do.

I smell an experiment brewing here.

YUP, GOT IT. Just a thought though, what if i made a window dts and placed it in my building wall which is a dif (interior) would that mess up the lighting of the interior in any way or would tge recognize them as two separate objects? I smell an experiment brewing here.

This was in TGE, not sure about TGEA.
Keep in mind, when you put your window into the opening in your DIF, you'll also want to put a portal within the same window area, I usually portal the DIF's first and get my lighting set up, then place my windows.
Hopefully this will help some. and if you find different results, please post back!

I found after doing the exact same experiment you are doing now, that after I had "perfected" my window (stained glass), that I wasn't able to see any of my exterior DTS's when looking through the window. This was in TGE, not sure about TGEA.

Exactly what i did and had gotten the same result as you. haven't tried it with tgea but i've given the file to someone who has that program and we'll see what they come up with.

Have you tried adding the window free floating somewhere and looking through it?
