Merging teams

Currently WotRpg is a two man team. Both myself as a designer/intermediate programmer and a 3d modeler. We are slowly but surly developing a MMORPG (yes I know) based on Robert Jordan's book series The Wheel of Time. However we need a larger team. If you have a team with no current project, or this seems interesting we would love to have you. We are open to new ideas and truly need the help if we are going to ever get a usable product. Any money made would of course be split between members. Please contact me if interested.

Wouldn't you need a permission from Robert Jordan to do a game on the Wheel of Time-books?
It's a really great book-series, so I can definitely understand that you want to develop a game like this. In addition, you don't really have to build up a world from scratch. You pretty much have everything already worked out for you.
The problem would be to get the author's permission to use his works in a game. And this could probably be a bit tricky. Don't know how you'll get in contact, either. He probably has a literary agent, or you'll have to go through Thor books (if I remember correctly).

Well, we are planning to develop something first so we can goto Jordan with something more than an idea. Hopefully this will lead to an agreement. Otherwise we would have two courses of action, either modifying the game so that it no longer violates copyrights or by making it non for profit (only charging for server matinence and employee saleries).
