DIF closes Torque

I'm having an annoying problem right now that's keeping me from doing much of anything else.
I made this simple model of a three story building. I don't know if this has anything to do with my problems, but I have some complicated geometry on one of the floors where I did a lot of CSG subtract to make it look like the floor was broken and crumbling. When I originally exported to DIF I didn't have any problems at all.
Then, I tried texturing the whole model. After that, I exported a DIF and put that in my game, and the player falls through the floor. In fact, he walked through a number of walls, too.
I already downloaded the patch that it supposed to fix this, and I always have to save my files as a .map and reopen them before exporting DIFs.
Today, I went back and redid some of the texturing. I did a lot of shifting and resizing on textures almost everywhere on the object. Now when I try to bring the object into my mission in Torque the program just crashes as soon as it appears.

What is the significance of the red and the grayed out text?
There's a part about 80 lines up where after it says Paging in current undo entries that says Could not locate texture: for 4 textures that are clearly on the object (it says it can't find them in the scenes folder, and they aren't in the scenes folder, they're in the texture folder), and it says that it's copying those textures over near the bottom in what I assume has to be the export.
The only thing that looks like an error to me is that could not locate texture.

I'm looking at the console here and I'm not really sure what part of it is the export...What is the significance of the red and the grayed out text?

Have you downloaded the patches yet? The collision issues sound like a pre-patched 1.0.3.

What else is there?

This may be similar to my problem. I did some csg subtracts for a circle hole on a large circle platform- it exported fine, but if i make any changes to the map (as simple as adding in a brush or deleting one), the map will not export.

Download the 1.04 patch, and try again.

Did I mention I'm working on a Mac here? Is there a 1.04 patch for the Mac yet?

Nope, you didn't mention it. No, there is no 1.04 for the mac yet. Sorry. I may be able to borrow some time on one, and if I do, I will try to figure out how to compile a 1.04 for the mac. (and fix the save as problem at the same time).

I've been making 512X512 JPEGS and using the save to web function in photoshop to compress them. I put them in the textures folder in Constructor and then use the texture browser to add them. Then I apply and export as usual. Am I missing something here? I can see the texture files in my dif folder after export.

After some fiddling around, it seems pretty clear that the main thing that's crashing Torque is my custom texture files. If I use the textures that come with Constructor I have no problems.I've been making 512X512 JPEGS and using the save to web function in photoshop to compress them. Make sure that you do not save them as progressive scan JPG's. The JPG library used with Torque does not support them on the Mac.

I'm almost certain I haven't been saving them as progressive scan.

Make sure Photoshop isn't saving them with it. The option is on by default, I believe, when it comes to saving for the web.
