I just came across this today. Calgari is offering a group buy on Gamespace. The more people who purchase it, the lower the cost will be for everyone. They won't charge your credit card until the final price has been set. It's currently at $129 and can drop as low as $99. It usually runs $299. I thought I would share in case anyone was interested.

Well well !!!

There's a thought. :-)

But tell me this, please:

How far could a game developer reach,
in terms of design capabilities on one hand,
and an ease of use on the other ?

For example, I want to make an urban environment
for my game, NYC's Manhattan style, to include
high-rise buildings (into which the play could enter),
then some roads, cars, people, etc.

Would such a task be achievable with GameSpace,
or the second one -- TrueSpace, or any other ?

Thanks,
Ronnie

I don't like the interface for True/GameSpace, but I know artists who swear by it. Download the GameSpace free version and see if the interface works for you.
