What would be the benefits of using dts files in TGB?
I would like to create game art that has realistic shading and highlighting but after I've spent hours in photoshop I reealize that it just doesnt look like I want it.
Would it be possible to my items in 3dsmax with texture baking and export to dts and use them in game?

What would make a lot of sense is to do it in Max and render out your artwork there. Of course, if you have lighting changes and such among the 2D artwork, then it's a problem unless you account for it in the engine in some way.
