I have a funny feeling I will have to back a version in max because I'm having trouble with max9 to Torque

Do I need to go to max8?

How exactly would you "go" Max8? You can't purchase it anymore.

So the quick answer is - no. You don't have to revert back to Max 8.

There's no real need to go "back" to Max 8, Max 9 exports for me to TGE without a problem. Mind you, the objects are fairly simple at the moment. Perhaps if you outline the difficulties you are having, some one here maybe able to help you sort it out.

Send me the file Noah and I'll have a look at it. I have some work to do this weekend in Max, so I'll have some time to go over your file and see if anything stands out as a problem.

Use my gmail account (see my profile) and we'll take it from there.

I am watching this thread.
- I currently use max9 and if you guys can't sort this, I will jump in and help out where I can.

Vineet, you need to explain why it "sucks", ok ? ...I don't think anyone here can read your mind bro.

@All

Yes no kidding people. If you want serious help you need to post actual error messages and explain what you are doing. I for one and more inclined to help people that show that they have made an effort when asking for help (ie. posting what they have done, error message, image(s) of the problem in question, etc.).

@Noah

No I have never had a problem like that either with any of the Max2DTS exporters. If you can, please post your correspondence with James here on this forum so that others can offer their input as well (and of course if anyone else has this issue they can figure out what was going on/wrong).
