Suggestions for the 3dsmax exporter

Just thought I would start a thread for everybody to post what they would like to see in the 3dsmax exporter.(hopefully somebody is working on it).


1: More texture map support (glow, the ever popular bump, etc.) +engine support

Joe can correct me if I am wrong with this statement, but to my knowledge this information is exported out into the DTS file format but the engine itself does not know what to do with that data at this time.

The ability to export more transparent polygons. The current limit is way too low.

Sorting needs to work with higher polygon counts.

Sorting needs to handle concave shapes better.

How about:

MAX2diff and engine support.
Particles and lights for DTS models with engine support.

But hell, what am I talking about I can't even get the stuff that does work exported LOL.

physique... that must be well supported like the skin modifier and not be handled as a morphe animation... can they do that?
