Cursor Doesn't Show Up On Certain Macs

When I run the TGE 1.5.2 on certain Macs, the cursor does not show up and there is no way to get it to show up. Also, the main menu does not respond to any key input (can't open any editors or hit ESC key to quit). The only way to quit the program is cmd-Q. These are the specs on the problem machine:

iMac
MacOSX 10.4.11
1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo
1 GB 667 MHz RAM

I am on a college campus where I have access to several computers and the problem occurs on all iMacs with this configuration!
