To All Utah Area Indie's,
Our next Utah Indie Games Night will be held on Tuesday, January 29th, at 7:30 pm at the ITT-Tech Campus in Murray. Thanks once again to ITT-Tech for hosting the event. Email me if you need directions to get there.
The format will be slightly different than last time. First we'll start with 30 minutes (or less) of overhead projector presentations. Then after that we'll breakout into more informal presentations, scattered throughout the room, where you can get more "hands on" and personal with the games and the developers. There should be a few machines around the room that we can use for this, but for those presenting, it might be a good idea to bring a laptop if you have one (just in case). At this point the evening will be an informal get together to chat, eat, talk about the industry, see what others are doing, etc.
The event is open to anyone with an interest in Indie Games, so feel free to pass the word along. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Hope to see everyone there!

We had a few technical difficulties this time around, and attendance was down some to about 30-35 people (probably due to heavy snow), but overall it was still a good evening. Here's a couple of writeups on how things went.www.rampantgames.com/blog/2008/01/utah-indie-night-winter-2008.html

It's good that it still went off (though with a few hitches!). I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway since they closed the passes. Won't be able to hit April either, but I'm hoping for the one after that!
