We are looking for help coding our proof of concept for our game. We need a very basic six-degree of freedom player that has health, a primary gun, and a secondary missile. It would need to be able to function in multiplayer with 4 other players. We are willing to pay a pre-arranged amount for the work. More specs and documentation available upon request.
Thanks a ton,
Zach Briggs

It's only the opinion of one person, but Cippyboy does have the ability to fulfill you request.

Thanks for the endorsing but it turns out that they want someone proficient with Torque specifically. I could learn it though; still haven't got an answer to my offer.

That's a reasonable assumption, but still something worth mentioning in their original post.

I don't get it. Torque pretty much comes already with what you're asking for. How about if you pay me to give you what you already have.

The FPS starter would require some modification, perhaps he's not comfortable doing it. Zach doesn't list programming in his profile as a acquired skill, which may be why he's looking for somebody to do it. Perhaps you should submit your rates, Robert.

I would like to give it a try, if you haven't found a suitable candidate please contact me at race_hazard at hotmail dot com

If we have what we need we would be OK with someone just showing us how to make the modifications. That would actually be excellent because we would be a little more on top of the result that way.
Either way we need our proof of concept for our investors and publisher.
I'm resting today it's been a pretty long week for me but I will contact Nerrad either later tonight or in the morning. If you shoot me your contact Robert I will touch base with you as well.
Cippyboy does seem to be skilled enough to do what we need but we need it either in Torque (Preferred) or Reality Engine (Haven't been very successful here though). However, we are still considering his offer.
We appreciate the attention my friends and I look forward to speaking with you.
Thank You,
Zach

I'm actually a programmer but I am proficient in Delphi writing applications and databases and as you all know that is a totally different world. So to answer your question, I'm not comfortable with me fumbling through it in the time frame allotted. If we have what we need we would be OK with someone just showing us how to make the modifications. That would actually be excellent because we would be a little more on top of the result that way.
