Yes. It is not currently XNA 2.0 compliant, though, so it does not support XNA's networking profile. That should come down the line.

You will be tied to XNA development and distribution if you choose TorqueX or any other XNA engine.

Our current 3D version is also in beta. There are still some issues with it that we need to fix before release.

Not really. You could use the concepts, but TorqueX is a complete C# engine. It was written from the ground-up. There is no TorqueScript (or any scripting language) with it.

I believe there are tutorials included with the binary install. There are also other tutorials that have been posted to the TorqueX forums.
